Executive Coaching
The executive coaching process has set time parameters, with the critical period being the first 90 days after a person joins your organization or begins a new critical role. Subsequent phases ensure that the process is sustained as results are measured and benefits realized.
We work with executives to:
- Assess their leadership transition strengths and potentially fatal flaws
- Develop a "roadmap" of critical actions before and after beginning a new role
- Determine their critical personal, team and organizational measures
- Provide a sounding board for their ideas and plans
Our services are customized to each organization and leader's level of leadership transition competencies, and may include additional services such as facilitating the development of stakeholder expectations, initial meetings between the leader and his/her team, and co-coaching the leader with other internal human resources professionals.
We strive to match coaches with individuals based on prior industry, function and organizational challenge. We also find it useful to match coaches with experience in one or more of these criteria to allow fresh perspectives to emerge. Mr. Walztoni personally delivers leadership training services for human resources professionals.
Reducing the risk of leadership failure and change initiative can be extremely valuable. Not only will you reduce turnover, saving on its high financial and non-financial costs, but you will also see how creating leaders ready for each new challenge improves individual and organizational performance. Having these practical solutions in place can also help you increase employee engagement, achieve your business objectives, improve customer satisfaction, and influence top candidates to join your organization.
Testimonial
"My Executive Coaching relationship with Mark Walztoni has been immensely valuable in making a smooth transition from consulting to industry. Mark quickly synthesized a point of view on strengths and challenges in my new role from current and past co-worker interviews and leadership assessment surveys. We then used this information to develop a very practical and actionable plan for early success. Mark's approach of bringing the President of our division directly into the process as a "co-coach" helped ensure that we were focused on the right opportunities for creating initial wins."
