Mark Walztoni has over 25 years of leadership, development, and recruiting experience in leading companies such as American Express, Ernst and Young LLP, and Thomson. In addition, he has held chief people officer roles for founding entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in the professional services and technology sectors including IGATE Capital Management and Computer Horizons Corp.

Since founding Santa Fe-based Sustainable Ventures Alliance LLC in 2006, Mark has specialized in assisting early-stage, rapid growth, and turnaround companies as a human capital advisor, venture partner, and Board Member of the New Mexico Angels (www.nmangels.com) and New Mexico Biotechnology and Biomedical Association (www.nmbio.org) He is also the founder of the Entreprenuers Network New Mexico and the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of New Mexico.

His local and national clients including Adidas, Lockheed Martin, Pajarito Scientific Corporation, NM Business Leadership Network, Flywheel Ventures, WJM Associates, New Mexico Angels, Trinity Medical Corporation, Adroit Innovations, TruTouch Technologies, and Vista Therapeutics.

He is a certified executive coach and international speaker on individual and organizational change for organizations as diverse as Fortune Magazine, the Society of Human Resources Management, Organizational Development Network, American Society of Training and Development, Benefits Management Forum, International Coach Federation, Santa Fe Alliance, World At Work, HR Southwest, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and the Baltimore Chamber of Commerce. He has also hosted his own series of web-casts.

Mark is also a member of Expert Advisory Panels on Career Transitions and Comprehensive Onboarding for the Human Capital Institute, and earned his graduate degree in Organizational Psychology at Columbia University. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and was the subject of a feature article in Computerworld magazine concerning recruiting and retaining experienced computer systems professionals.
